Alright, if you're looking for somewhere to park up your caravan or motorhome in Southport, the Caravan and Motorhome Club site is your best bet, hands down. It's right on the seafront, so you can't get much closer to the beach than that. It's a proper family-friendly place, with plenty of space for the kids to run around. Not really a couples' romantic getaway vibe, but great if you've got the little 'uns in tow. And being right on the coast, you're a short drive (or a longer walk!) into the town centre for your chippy tea and amusements. It’s in Merseyside, of course – don't let anyone tell you Southport's in Lancashire!

Now, a word of warning: it gets BUSY. Especially around big events. The Open Championship is back at Royal Birkdale in 2026 (12th-19th July), and I reckon this place will be rammed. So, if you're planning on coming then, get your booking sorted ASAP.
