Alright, so you're heading to Burscough near Ormskirk and need somewhere to dump the car? This car park's a lifesaver because it's completely free. Can't argue with that, especially these days. It's not bang in the centre of Southport, mind – you're looking at a 20-minute drive or so to get to Lord Street. But hey, if you're planning on exploring Burscough itself, or need a base before heading into Southport, it does the trick.

It's just a basic car park, nothing fancy. No attendants, no marked bays particularly, but generally people are pretty considerate. It can get a bit busy on market days in Burscough (that's Tuesdays and Fridays), so best to arrive early if you want a guaranteed spot. Otherwise, you shouldn't have too much trouble finding a space.

Don't expect any frills, like toilets or anything, it's literally just a place to park your car. What more do you need?
