Leisure Centre Car Park

Alright, so you're heading to Formby and need to park? The Leisure Centre Car Park on Elbow Lane is free, which is always a bonus. It's right next to the Formby Pool and Fitness Centre, so handy if you're planning a swim or gym session. If you want to go to the beach, it's a 25-minute walk.

Now, full disclosure, it only has one review on Google and it's not great – a 1.0 out of 5. I've never had any problems myself but it is what it is. I guess you get what you pay for. It can get pretty busy, especially on weekends and during school holidays when everyone's heading to the beach or the pool.

Opening times mirror the Leisure Centre: 6:30 AM to 9:15 PM, Monday to Friday, and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends.

Just a heads up, if you're planning a full day at the beach, get there early to snag a spot, especially during the summer months. Public transport is an option if you don't fancy driving.
