Ainsdale's Barber Shop

Right, so if you're in Ainsdale and need a trim, I reckon Ainsdale's Barber Shop is your best bet. It's been there for years, and they know what they're doing. I've been a few times myself when I'm in that part of Southport. It's a proper barbers, not one of those fancy salons that charge you a fortune for the same thing.

The blokes there are sound, always up for a chat about the football or the golf – they've got "golf" as one of their tags online, so you know they're clued up. They've got a good rating online too, 4.8 out of 5 from over 140 reviews, which is saying something. You know how fussy people are these days.

They're open Tuesday to Saturday, but closed Mondays and Sundays. Weekdays they shut at half 5, but Saturday they close a bit earlier at 4pm. You can give them a ring on 01704 574560 if you want to check availability, or book online, I think.

Word of warning: Ainsdale Village can get busy, especially on weekends. Give yourself plenty of time to find parking.
