Need a trim in Ainsdale? Barbers 120 on Station Road is your spot. I've been going there on and off for years, ever since Mark opened the place. It's not fancy, but they do a solid job and the prices are fair. You know what you're getting.

They're open six days a week, but be warned, Mondays are short days – only 10am to 3pm. The rest of the week they're open 'til at least half five, and a bit later on Thursday and Friday. They shut up shop around half four on Saturdays. It's closed Sundays, obviously. Google reviews reckon it's a 4.6 out of 5 from nearly 60 reviews, so it's not just me who thinks they're alright.

It's a proper barbers, no frills. Good for kids too, my lad's been going since he was tiny and Mark's always been patient with him. They're good for a chat too, if you're that way inclined, always up to date on the local gossip.

Give them a ring on 01704 579425 to book ahead, especially if you're going on a Saturday, as it gets busy. Parking can be a pain on Station Road itself, so try the side streets.
