Need a trim in Churchtown? Capelli Hair Studio on Botanic Road is my go-to. I’ve been going there for years, ever since Sarah opened it. It's not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, and I always walk out feeling a million dollars. Plus, you know how Churchtown can be – parking's a nightmare sometimes, but it’s worth the hassle.
They’re open most days, closed Wednesdays and Sundays. Decent hours too, especially on Thursday when they’re open 'til 7 PM if you need an after-work appointment. They’re pretty popular so I always give them a ring on 01704 232023 to book in advance.
The Google reviews are spot on – 4.8 stars out of 5 from 30 reviews, which tells you something. It's a friendly, local place. You won't get any airs and graces, just a good haircut and a bit of a natter.
Just a heads up, they can get really busy on Saturdays, especially around lunchtime, so try to book an earlier slot if you can.
