Need a proper trim in town? I always head to Istanbul Barber Shop on Eastbank Street. They've got a solid 4.5 stars from 160 reviews online, so it's not just me saying they're good. They do all the usual stuff, plus proper Turkish barbering – hot towel shaves and the like. Bit more of an experience than just a quick buzzcut, you know?
The lads in there are sound, always up for a bit of a chat while they work. They're open every day, which is handy. Weekdays they shut up shop at 6pm, but Friday and Saturday they're open till 7pm, and even Sunday they're there from 10am till 6pm. So, pretty flexible, even if you work late.
It’s a popular spot, especially on weekends, so sometimes you might have a bit of a wait. But honestly, it's worth it for the quality. Give them a ring on 07456 027616 if you're worried about queuing, might be able to book an appointment, though I usually just chance it.
