Alright, so you’re looking for a new hairdresser in town? My wife, Janine, swears by the Organic Hair Room. It's right in the town centre, so dead easy to get to, and they’ve got a perfect 5-star rating on Google from over 50 reviews – which is saying something, 'cause people love to moan online, don't they?

They're open six days a week, but they shut up shop a bit earlier on Fridays and Saturdays, so keep that in mind. Monday to Thursday it's 9:30 'til 6, then Friday 9 'til 4:30, and Saturday 9 'til 3. Give them a ring on 07891 047355 if you want to book in.

Janine says they use all organic products, which she’s really into, and they're supposed to be good for sensitive scalps. Plus, the owner's a golfer – apparently, she's always chatting about Birkdale golf club. So if you're into that, you'll have something to talk about!

One tip: parking in town can be a nightmare, especially on a Saturday. Give yourself plenty of time to find a spot.
