Victoria's Hair Studio

Need a trim in town? Victoria's Hair Studio on Chapel Street is your best bet, in my opinion. It's got a brilliant reputation; the Google reviews don't lie – 4.9 stars from 129 people can't be wrong. I've been going there for years, ever since my missus recommended them. Always a decent cut and a friendly face.

It's a proper salon, not one of those fancy places that charges you a fortune for a wash and blow dry. They do everything from colours to cuts, and I think they also do extensions, though I've never needed those myself! Open most days except Sundays and Mondays, with late opening 'til 7pm on Fridays if you need to pop in after work.

They're pretty popular, so you'll probably need to book ahead, especially for a Saturday appointment. Give them a ring on 07988 743636 to sort something out. Parking can be a pain around Chapel Street, so either use the car park near the Atkinson or give yourself plenty of time to find a spot on one of the side streets.
