Gallery More Studio & Shop

Right, so Gallery More – it's one of those places that's easy to walk right past in town, but worth popping your head in if you're mooching about. It's a small studio and shop with some nice local art and bits and bobs. The Google reviews are all five-star, but there are only seven of 'em, so don't go expecting the Louvre, alright?

It's dead handy if you need a gift. Something a bit different, you know? They have paintings and prints, and some smaller crafts too. Indoor, so good for a rainy day – and let's face it, we get a few of those in Southport, don't we? Not really aimed at kids, more for grown-ups who appreciate art.

They're open Tuesday to Saturday, 10 'til 4, but closed Sundays & Mondays. Give them a ring on 07531 383794 if you're making a special trip, just to be sure they're open. They do have a website: gallerymore.co.uk.

Parking in town can be a pain, so your best bet is the Lord Street parking or the train.
