Alright then, fancy a trip to sunny Southport? If you're coming with the family or a few mates, have a look at the Beach House 3 Bed Penthouse Apartment. It's right in the town centre, so you're not far from the shops or the beach. I wouldn't call it "budget" exactly, but it's decent value for the location.

It's a good shout if you're into golf, especially with Royal Birkdale just up the road. The Open Championship is coming back in 2026 (12th to 19th of July, mark your calendars!), and this place would be ideal if you're here for that — you’ll be able to walk into town for a pint. Being a penthouse, you'll hopefully get a decent view too.

It's not the Ritz, mind you, but it's clean and comfortable, and you can't beat being so close to everything. It's definitely more suited to families or small groups than couples looking for a romantic getaway.
