Beach House Courtyard 2 bed

Alright, so you're after a place to crash in town? I reckon the Beach House Courtyard 2-bed is worth a shout, especially if you're coming with the family. It's slap-bang in the centre of Southport so you're not far from anything, and they've got some outdoor seating which is nice when the sun's out (rare, I know!). I spotted it on VRBO – give that a Google if you want a proper look.

It's a decent option if you're here for the golf too. I mean, Royal Birkdale is just up the road in, well, Birkdale, and they're hosting The Open again in 2026 (12th to 19th of July if you're planning ahead). It's not right on the doorstep, but a quick taxi or train will get you there no bother. Plus, being in town means you've got plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from after a day on the course.

Now, I haven't stayed there myself, but it seems pretty popular. I saw a listing with a good stack of reviews. Obviously, check them out yourself before booking, but it seems like people are generally happy. It's a 2-bedder, so it's probably better suited to families or a couple who want a bit more space.

One tip: being right in the centre, parking can be a bit of a pain. Check with the owners about parking options before you book so you don't get caught out.
