About Botanic Cottages
Right then, Botanic Cottages. If you're coming to Southport and want something a bit more personal than your standard hotel chain, this could be a shout. It's smack bang in the town centre, so dead easy for getting about. Good if you don't want to be stuck out in the sticks.
I've had a nosey at the reviews β seems like most people rate it around 4.5 stars, and they've got a good few reviews clocked up. Looks like people rate the cleanliness and the friendly staff, which is always a bonus. From what I can see, it looks more suited to couples or maybe smaller families, rather than big groups.
Now, if you're thinking of coming up for The Open at Birkdale in 2026 (12-19 July), this could be a decent option as itβs not far. Just be aware that everything in Southport gets booked up solid that week, so get your skates on. You can give them a bell on the number on this page to check for availability and prices.
One thing to remember is parking in the town centre can be a pain, so factor that in. You might want to look into parking options nearby before you arrive to save yourself a headache.
