Four Seasons Parks

Alright, so you're looking for a place to crash near Southport, eh? Four Seasons Parks over in Ormskirk might be worth a shout. They're not smack-bang in town, but it's a decent option if you're driving. I've not stayed there myself, but they get a solid 4.3 stars from over 300 Google reviews, so folk seem happy enough. It's worth thinking about now if you're hoping to come for The Open at Birkdale in 2026 (12th to 19th July). Places get booked up seriously fast, and Ormskirk's an easy enough drive into Southport for the golf, especially if you're planning on bringing the family. I reckon it's more geared towards families than couples looking for a romantic getaway – think chalets and that kind of thing. Could be a good shout if you want the kids to have a bit of space to run around.
