Right, so the Scarisbrick Hotel. It’s smack-bang in the middle of town on Lord Street, you can’t miss it. Big Victorian building, looks impressive from the outside. It gets a 3.0 rating on Google from nearly 1,500 reviews, so manage your expectations. It’s a Britannia hotel, that's all you need to know, eh?

It's open 24/7 so you can check in whenever, and they've got all the usual stuff – rooms, restaurant, bar. Now, if you're coming for The Open at Birkdale in 2026, this place is handy for getting to the course, but be aware it's gonna be busy and probably pricey. I reckon it's more suited to couples or groups of mates than families, to be honest.
