Woodland Escapes Glamping
About Woodland Escapes Glamping
Right, so Woodland Escapes Glamping. I'll be straight, it's not *actually* in a woodland. It's more "conveniently located" near the town centre. But if you want to be close to the shops and Lord Street, and you fancy something a bit different from your usual hotel, this could be a shout.
I've not stayed myself, but it gets a solid 4.8 stars based on 15 reviews online, which is decent. Looks like they're on Snaptrip (link above), so you can check proper photos and prices there. It seems geared more towards couples or maybe small families who don't mind being cosy. If you're coming for The Open at Birkdale in 2026, it's a pretty handy spot to crash, being right in Southport.
Glamping is glamping, right? So expect a bit more than a tent, but don't go thinking it's the Ritz. It's a good alternative if hotels are booked up, or you just fancy something a bit more outdoorsy without actually being *outdoorsy*.
Worth checking their website for exact opening times, but I'd advise booking well in advance, especially if you're planning on being here during the golf. Parking in town can be a pain, so factor that in too.
