If you're nipping into Formby village, Andrews Lane Car Park is a lifesaver. It's totally free, which is always a bonus, and it puts you just a couple of minutes' walk from Chapel Lane where all the shops are. Beats trying to squeeze onto the street, that's for sure.

It's a surface car park, nothing fancy, but it does the job. It’s open 24/7, so no worries about getting locked in after a late dinner. Google says it's got a perfect 5.0 rating, but that's only from two reviews – so maybe don't take that as gospel! Still, free parking is free parking, right?

You'll find it right on Andrews Lane, funnily enough. It can get pretty busy on weekends and during school holidays, especially around lunchtime. Formby's popular, what can I say?!
