Formby Village
Right, so you're heading to Formby Village for a wander around the shops or maybe a pint at The Freshfield. Smart move. Now, parking can be a bit of a pain, especially on a Saturday. This car park on Chapel Lane is your best bet for convenience. It's a surface car park, nothing fancy, but it puts you right in the heart of things.
It's a paid car park, unfortunately. You'll be looking at paying at the meter. I can't tell you exactly how much it costs these days, as it always changes. But it is what it is. It does fill up quickly, so aim to get there before lunchtime, especially on weekends or during school holidays.
From here, itβs a doddle to get to Chapel Lane and Duke Street where all the action is β all the shops, cafΓ©s, and pubs. It's a proper little village, Formby. A lot nicer than parking further out and having a trek in.
Just a heads-up: keep an eye on your ticket. The parking wardens are pretty eagle-eyed around here.
