About Mere Brow Taxis
Alright, so you're stuck in town and need a ride? I've used Mere Brow Taxis a few times when I've missed the last bus back to Churchtown after a few too many in The Coronation. They're based more towards Preston (don't hold that against them!), but they definitely cover Southport town centre.
They've got a 4.0 rating on Google from 4 reviews, so not loads of feedback, but that's not bad going. Give them a ring on 01772 813279 and see if they can pick you up. They're a decent shout if the usual Southport taxi firms are busy, especially late at night.
I've found them to be pretty reliable, although sometimes you might have to wait a little longer than usual if they're coming all the way from Mere Brow. Just factor that in.
Best to book in advance if you know you'll need a taxi at a specific time, especially on a Friday or Saturday night. Saves you standing around waiting in the cold!
