Seafront Car Park

Right, so you're heading to Southport and need to park the car. Listen, the Seafront Car Park is your best bet for the town centre. It gets a decent 4.1 stars from over a hundred reviews on Google, so people generally seem happy enough. It's not exactly the Ritz, but it's a car park, isn't it? You're there to leave your motor, not have a spa day.

It's dead handy being right on the front, obviously. Means you're a hop, skip, and a jump from Lord Street and all the shops. Plus, the pier is literally across the road. Downside? Well, everyone else knows it's handy, so it gets BUSY, especially on weekends and during the Air Show. Prepare to queue a bit, especially if the weather's decent.

Price-wise, it's Southport prices – not cheap, but not outrageous either. You're paying for the location, basically. You can usually pay with card or cash at the machines. I'd recommend having both handy just in case one's playing up.

One tip: check the tide times before you go. Sometimes, on really high tides, bits of the car park can get a bit damp! It's never been flooded when I've used it, but just something to be aware of.
