Okay, so you're heading into town and need to park up. Sports Direct Multi-Storey Car Park is right in the middle of Southport, which is handy. It's open every day, 8 AM to 5:30 PM, so it's good for daytime shopping, but you'll need to move your car if you're planning a late dinner or a night out.
Now, I'm being straight with you, it only gets 2.9 stars out of 5 from 53 Google reviews, so it's not winning any awards. It can get a bit tight in there when it's busy, especially if you've got a bigger car. But, you know, it's parking, and it's central. Sometimes you just need a space.
It's right next to the Sports Direct (obviously!) and a short walk to Lord Street, the main shopping drag. You're also dead close to the market and the shops on Chapel Street from there.
One tip: pay attention to the height restrictions when you go in, and maybe avoid it during peak Saturday hours if you're not a confident parker.
