Looking for a new hairdresser in Birkdale? My neighbour swears by Rachael Wright at Opal Hair Studio. She’s been going for years and always looks great, so I thought I’d give her a shout-out.

Rachael’s got a perfect 5.0 rating on Google from 10 reviews, which is pretty impressive. That suggests she’s doing something right. She’s based inside Opal Hair Studio on Liverpool Road. I’ve never been in myself, but it always looks clean and smart when I walk past.

One thing to bear in mind: Birkdale Village can get rammed on Saturdays, especially with the train station right there. Give yourself plenty of time to find parking if you're heading over then.
