Alright, if you're looking for a quality haircut in town, I reckon you could do a lot worse than Jason James Salon. It’s right in the centre of Southport, so dead easy to get to. They've got a solid 4.9 stars on Google from 24 reviews, which is a pretty good sign that they know what they're doing.

Now, I haven't been myself (being follically challenged as I am!), but my wife Maureen swears by them. She says they really listen to what you want, and she always comes out looking a million dollars. Plus, she says they're a friendly bunch, which always makes a difference. They even seem to know a bit about golf, weirdly enough!

Opening hours are decent too – closed Sundays and Mondays, but open late on Thursdays and Fridays until 7pm, which is handy if you're working. Give them a ring on 01704 540727 to book an appointment.

Just a heads up, parking in town can be a pain, especially on Saturdays. Give yourself a bit of extra time to find a spot, or maybe hop on the train.
