Alright, if you're looking to get fit, and maybe learn to bob and weave while you're at it, check out JB BOXING & FITNESS. It's right in Southport town centre, so easy to get to. They've got a perfect 5-star rating on Google from 25 reviews, which is pretty impressive, right?

It's not just blokes hitting bags, either – they cater to all levels, and I hear the classes are a good laugh but will still push you. They seem to be open at all hours too: 6 in the morning till 9 at night most days, even weekends – so no excuses for missing a session.

I'm not a fitness fanatic myself (more of a pub quiz kinda guy) but I know a few people who swear by the place. They've got the proper kit and qualified trainers, so you know you're in safe hands. It's a proper gym, not one of those fancy places where you feel like you need a mortgage to walk through the door.
