Alright, so you're looking to get a bit of exercise in the fresh air? There's a free outdoor gym area over in Scarisbrick. It's open 24/7 so you can literally go whenever you fancy. I know a few lads who go early mornings before work.
It's got a perfect 5-star rating, but just the one review on Google. Still, can't argue with that, eh? I've been past a few times and it looks decent enough. It's not got weights or anything like that – more like those bodyweight bits of kit you see in parks. Good for a quick workout though.
It's technically in Scarisbrick, but it’s basically Birkdale – just on the outskirts. So if you're local, it's a short bike ride. If you're coming from further afield, there's usually parking on the road nearby. Just be mindful of the residents.
