Sakota salon Birkdale

Need a trim in Birkdale? Sakota is a solid shout. They're on Liverpool Road, and have racked up a decent 4.8 stars from over 50 reviews, so they must be doing something right. It's not the cheapest place in town, but you get what you pay for, I reckon.

The women in my family swear by Sakota for their hair, and they always look great afterwards. They do all the usual stuff – cuts, colours, the works. Plus, they seem to be on top of the latest trends if that's your thing. Closed Wednesdays and Sundays, but they do late nights on Thursdays 'til 7pm which is handy if you're working.

Parking can be a bit tight around there on Liverpool Road, especially during peak times. Give yourself a bit of extra time to find a spot, or you might end up circling the block a few times!
