If you're serious about getting fit in Southport town centre, you need to check out TERA Gym. It's got a perfect 5.0 rating from 32 reviews, which is saying something – people in Southport don't give praise easily! I've heard good things from a few lads down at the pub about the personal training on offer.

They're open seriously early, 6 AM every day except Sunday (when they're closed), and stay open 'til 8 PM. That's handy if you're working shifts or just like to get your workout in before the day starts. I've not been myself, I prefer a pint and a packet of crisps, but I know a few folk from Birkdale who swear by it.
