Turkish Style Barber Shop

Alright, so you need a proper trim in Birkdale? Try Turkish Style Barber Shop. It's not the fanciest place you'll ever see, but they do a solid job and the prices are reasonable. My mate goes there before his golf trips, says they sort him right out. They've got a 4.4 star rating from 13 Google reviews, which is a decent score around here.

They do the whole Turkish barber thing – hot towel shaves, the ear flaming (if you're brave enough!), the works. I usually just stick to a haircut myself, but each to their own. I've never had a bad experience, and they're always up for a bit of a laugh, even if the banter's a bit… predictable.

You'll find them in Birkdale Village, easy enough to get to. They're open seven days a week, usually 9am to 6pm most days, but they stay open a bit later on Fridays and Saturdays (until 7pm) and open a bit later on Sundays (10am to 5pm).

Word of warning: it can get busy on weekends, especially Saturday afternoons. Might be worth giving them a ring to check the wait time before you head down, especially if you're on a tight schedule.
