DAVID BOOTH MRSS CONTEMPORARY GALLERY

Right, so David Booth's gallery is on Lord Street, smack bang in the town centre. If you're into art, especially the contemporary stuff, it's worth popping in. He's got a five-star rating on Google, but only from one review so far, so take that with a pinch of salt! It's all indoors, so good for a rainy day, and open year-round.

David's a proper sculptor, a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors and he's got some interesting pieces on display. It's not huge, so you won't be there all day, but good for a quick look if you're browsing Lord Street. I'd say it's probably better suited for adults than little kids who might be tempted to touch everything.

Opening hours are pretty regular, but worth noting it doesn't open till 1pm most weekdays, but opens earlier on Saturday at 10am, and closes earliest on Sunday at 4pm. Give him a ring on 07577 450093 if you're making a special trip just to be sure. Otherwise, just wander in when you're passing.
