Eden Play

Right, so Eden Play. It's technically in Ormskirk, but just a hop over the Southport border, so I’m including it. If you've got little ones and need to burn off some energy, this is a decent shout, especially if the weather's not playing ball. It's got a perfect 5.0 rating from 4 reviews on Google, which is a good start.

It's mainly focused on getting active, not much in the way of sitting around. From what I can tell, it's definitely geared towards families with children. Think indoor play areas and that sort of thing, so good for a rainy day in Merseyside. It's open weekdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, but closed Saturdays and Sundays.

It’s a good option for keeping the kids entertained. I'd recommend giving them a ring on 01704 840780 to double-check availability, especially during school holidays, as it can get busy.
