Silcock's Amusements Nevill Street

Right in the thick of Southport town centre on Nevill Street, you'll find Silcock's Amusements. It's a proper arcade, not one of those fancy Vegas-style places, so expect the usual mix of flashing lights, grabber machines, and the constant ka-ching of coins. It's indoors, which is a godsend when the Southport weather turns (which, let's face it, is often). Open pretty late most nights – until 10 PM weekdays and midnight on weekends – so you can easily kill an hour or two after your tea.
