Alright, so Concept Food Bar out in Scarisbrick is the spot if you're after something a bit different for your tea. It's got a 4.1 rating from 98 Google reviews, so people seem pretty happy overall. It's not exactly quiet family dining, mind you. Think more date night or getting together with mates.

They're open late every night, 6pm until at least 2am, and 3am on Fridays and Saturdays. So, yeah, definitely not your place for a quick bite with the kids after school. I reckon it's got a bit of a lively vibe, judging by the opening hours. They do food, but it's more of a bar that does food than a proper sit-down restaurant if you get what I mean. I've not eaten there myself, but the website (conceptfood.co.uk) looks decent enough, give it a look.

It's on the outskirts of Southport, so not right in the centre of town. Give them a ring on 01704 631889 if you're unsure of anything.

Probably best to book ahead for a Saturday night, especially if there's a few of you.
