Graysons

If you find yourself up in Ainsdale and fancy a proper breakfast or lunch, Graysons on Station Road is a solid shout. It's got a cracking 4.7 stars from 78 Google reviews, so people seem to rate it. It's more of a daytime place; they're only open 8 'til 2, Monday to Friday, and totally closed on weekends, which is a bit of a pain if you fancy a Saturday morning fry-up.

They do the usual sandwich bar stuff – bacon butties, jacket potatoes, that sort of thing. Good honest grub, nothing fancy. I reckon it's ideal for a quick bite with a mate, or maybe taking the kids after school if you're up that end of town. It's not exactly a date night spot, mind.

I've always found the staff friendly enough, and you can usually get a table without too much trouble during the week. Give them a ring on 01704 577326 if you're a big group, just to be on the safe side. Oh, and remember they don't do weekends!
