Le Moose Bar and Carose

Right, so Le Moose Bar and Carouse... it's one of those late-night spots in town that doesn't really get going 'til properly late. Open 'til 4am every night of the week, which is saying something for Southport! It's got a 3.6 rating from 18 Google reviews, so don’t go expecting the Ritz, but if you’re after a bit of a dance after everything else has shut, it does the job.

It’s not really my usual kind of place, to be honest. I'd describe it as more of a place to end up rather than plan to go to, if you catch my drift. I wouldn't call it a local pub or anything like that – definitely more of a late-night party bar. I can’t say for sure about dogs, give them a bell, but it feels more like a place for letting your hair down than bringing your pooch.

Worth noting that because it's a late one, you'll be relying on taxis to get home. Pre-book if you can, especially on a weekend, or you could be waiting a while.
