Ralph's Wife's Coffee and Bar

Right, so Ralph's Wife's Coffee and Bar. It's out in Banks, so you'll need a car or a bus, but hear me out. It's got a really solid reputation, 4.8 stars from over 130 Google reviews, so people are clearly happy. It's not a massive place, more of a relaxed local bar vibe than a crazy night out kinda place.

They do a bit of everything, coffee and drinks, but they're not open super early, so don't go expecting a morning caffeine hit. Wednesday to Sunday they open around 2pm or 4pm, and shut up shop around 10pm or 11pm. It's a good spot if you're after a relaxed drink and a chat. Dog owners, take note: four-legged friends are welcome.

I wouldn't call it a cocktail bar, more a place for a decent pint or a glass of wine. It's the kind of place where you'll probably bump into someone you know, which is always nice.
