About Botanic Gardens Cafe
If you're wandering round the Botanic Gardens and fancy a brew, the Botanic Gardens Cafe is your best bet. It's not gonna win any awards, but it's solid. Open every day, 9 'til 6 most days, and 'til 5 on Sundays, so it's pretty handy.
It's got a 4.0 rating on Google from 145 reviews, which is fair. It's more of a quick pit-stop kind of place than somewhere you'd settle in for hours, but they do a decent cup of coffee and usually have a few cakes on offer. Very handy if the weather turns typical Southport – you know, a bit drizzly. Plus, they're dog-friendly, which is always a bonus if you've got your furry mate with you.
You can give them a ring on 01704 228535 if you want to check they've got seating, but usually you can just rock up. It's free to get into the gardens themselves, so you're only paying for what you eat and drink.
Just a heads-up, it can get pretty busy during school holidays, so maybe aim for a mid-morning or mid-afternoon visit to avoid the biggest queues.
