Harbour Cafe . Bar

If you're knocking about Ainsdale and fancy a decent coffee that's not Costa, give the Harbour Cafe Bar a go. It's got a solid 4.6 stars from over 200 Google reviews, so people generally rate it. I'd say it's more of a sit-down place than just a quick in-and-out job, especially with those opening hours – they're open 'til 11pm most nights!

They do your usual cafe bits and bobs - cake and that - plus they've got a bar, so you can grab something a bit stronger if the mood takes you. It's a good shout if the weather's turned sour and you need somewhere to kill an hour or two. Price-wise, it's not the cheapest, more in the mid-range, but worth it for a bit of comfort.

It's on the main drag in Ainsdale, so easy enough to find. I've always found the staff friendly. It's not a massive place, but they've made good use of the space. I reckon it's a good all-rounder, and handier than trekking into town for a decent brew.
