Heritage Centre Cafe

If you're knocking around town and need a caffeine fix, the Heritage Centre Cafe is dead handy. It's right in the centre of Southport, so you can't miss it. Got a perfect 5.0 rating on Google, though it's only off a couple of reviews, so don't take that as gospel, mind.

It's more of a quick stop kinda place than somewhere you'd spend hours, but they do a proper coffee and I spotted some decent-looking cake last time I popped in. Could be a lifesaver if you get caught in a downpour, which, let's face it, is always a risk in Southport!

I've never had a bad experience there. It's not the cheapest, but you're paying for the location, I suppose. It's a good shout if you're waiting for someone or just need a few minutes to yourself.
