Hugo Lounge is a solid option right in the middle of town if you need a caffeine fix or a quick bite. They're open every day from 9 'til 6, so pretty reliable. The Google reviews are sitting at 4.1 stars from 113 reviews last time I checked, which is a decent showing around here.

It's more of a cafe vibe than a proper tea room, if you know what I mean. Good for a latte and a slice of cake when the Southport weather is doing its usual rainy thing.
