If you're after a decent coffee in town, Season is a solid shout. It's got a cracking 4.9 stars out of 5 on Google, based on 100 reviews, which is always a good sign. It's not one of those places that tries too hard, just good, honest coffee and some nice bits to eat. They do cakes and that sort of thing, so it's a good option if you're caught out in the Southport rain and need somewhere to kill an hour or so.

It's a proper sit-down kind of place, not just a grab-and-go, so bear that in mind. I wouldn't pop in if you're in a mad rush, but if you want a break from the shops, it's ideal.
