About The Coffee House
Alright, so The Coffee House on Lord Street... it's a good shout if you need a caffeine fix while you're in town. It's dead easy to find, right on the main drag. They do specialty coffee, which is a step up from your usual high street chains, plus light bites if you're peckish.
It's got a perfect 5-star rating on Google, but only from 5 reviews, so don't go expecting miracles. Still, that's a good start, eh? It's not a massive place, so maybe better for a quick coffee and a cake rather than setting up camp for the afternoon. If it's chucking it down (and let's be honest, it probably will be), it's a decent spot to watch the world go by and dry off a bit.
They're closed Mondays and Tuesdays, which is a bit of a pain. Wednesday to Sunday they're open 10am to 4pm. So, not an early opener. Worth keeping in mind if you're planning a morning shop.
It's budget-friendly, which is always a plus. If you're driving, you know what Lord Street is like for parking, so give yourself time to find a space or use one of the car parks off the main road.
