About The Lemon Tree Bakery
Right, so The Lemon Tree Bakery... it's proper good. It's dead easy to find in town, and dead handy if you need a break from the shops. I popped in last week and grabbed a coffee and a slice of their Victoria sponge. Spot on, both of 'em.
Now, I'll be straight with you: it's only got one review on Google, but it's a perfect 5 stars. So, early days, but looking promising. Website says they're open every day from 10 'til 4, and you can give 'em a ring on the website if you want to check anything.
It's not a massive place, so probably better for a quick stop than a long afternoon. Definitely one to bear in mind if it's chucking it down. They do proper coffees there, lattes and all that, and the cakes looked amazing. I saw a couple of brownies that had my name on 'em, but I resisted!
Worth a look if you're after a bit of cake and a decent brew. Just remember it's a bakery, not a restaurant, so don't expect a full dinner menu. And maybe check their Facebook page before you head over, just in case they've sold out of something tasty!
