About The Old BakeHouse Coffee Shop

If you're knocking about Southport town centre and need a coffee, give The Old BakeHouse Coffee Shop a look. It's got a decent 4.8 stars out of 5 from 20 reviews online, which is a pretty solid score, I reckon.

They do cakes and the like, plus supposedly proper coffee, which is always a bonus. It's probably better for a quick stop rather than a full-on afternoon tea experience, if you catch my drift. I'd say it's a good shout if the weather's turned and you need somewhere to dodge the rain for half an hour.

It's open every day except Monday, and closes at 4pm most days, but they stay open a bit later on Sunday, until 5pm. Give them a ring on 01704 335494 if you want to check if they're rammed before you head over.
