Sandy Brook Farm is a decent shout if you're looking for somewhere a bit quieter than Southport town centre. It's technically in Scarisbrick, but it's only a ten-minute drive to the shops and the beach. It’s got a solid 4.5 stars on Google from 14 reviews, so people seem happy enough. It pitches itself as a good spot for golfers, and it's not far from Birkdale, so if you're coming for The Open in 2026 (12th-19th July), it's definitely one to consider. From what I hear, it's more suited to couples or smaller families rather than big groups.
They don't have many rooms, so booking ahead is definitely recommended, especially around big events or school holidays. Parking is easy enough, it’s on site and free.
