Right, if you're coming to Southport and need a place to crash, the Southport Hotels Association is basically your first port of call. They aren't a hotel themselves, but they're a group representing loads of 'em in the town centre. They're open 7am to 11pm every day, so pretty easy to get hold of.

Now, Southport town centre has got a mixed bag of hotels, from the grand old dames on Lord Street to some of the more budget-friendly options closer to the train station. If you're coming for The Open at Birkdale in 2026, booking early is a no-brainer, and the association can definitely help you find somewhere suitable. Keep in mind that prices will be hiked up during the golf, mind.
