Alright, so you're heading into town? If you're lucky enough to snag a spot at Euro Car Parks, you're golden — it's free, which is always a win. It's right in the centre of Southport, so dead handy for the shops on Lord Street and the market. It can get pretty rammed, especially on Saturdays and during school holidays, so get there early if you can.

It's just a basic car park, nothing fancy, but hey, free is free. It's not the biggest either, so you might have to circle a couple of times. It's open 24/7, which is useful if you're planning on staying out late, and you can find it easily enough.

I'd give it a solid 3 out of 5 stars based on the 60-odd reviews I've seen — people appreciate the price, obviously, but don’t expect any frills. Just remember where you parked; it all looks the same when you're heading back!

One tip: have a backup plan in mind, especially if you're visiting during peak season. There are other car parks around, but they'll cost you. Know where they are to save yourself driving round and round.
