Finnegan's Square Car Park

Alright, so you're heading to Ormskirk, eh? If you're lucky enough to find a space, Finnegan's Square Car Park on Green Lane is your best bet as it's free. Being free, naturally, it gets busy, especially on market days (Thursdays and Saturdays) and around lunchtime when everyone nips out for a butty. It's right in the centre of Ormskirk though, just a short walk from the shops and the market, so very handy.

It's not the biggest and only one Google review isn't loads to go on, but it got four stars, so can't be bad. Don't go expecting pristine conditions or anything fancy – it's a basic car park, but hey, free is free. It's just off the main road so easy enough to find, and it saves you a few quid.

Look, it's a car park at the end of the day. Not exactly a tourist attraction, is it? But if you're driving into Ormskirk, knowing where to park without getting stung is half the battle.
