βœ“ FreeπŸ…ΏοΈ Car park

Right, so you're heading to Formby and need to park? Harington Close is a free car park, which is always a bonus, isn't it? It's handy for Formby beach and the National Trust reserve there. Weekends, especially in summer, it gets rammed. You might be circling for a bit waiting for a space, so be patient or get there early doors.

It's basically just a straightforward car park, nothing fancy. Don't expect attendants or anything like that. It does the job though, and like I said, free is free. I reckon it holds maybe 50-odd cars, something like that. It's on Harington Road, just off the main drag in Formby village.

Honestly, it’s your best bet for free parking if you're off to the beach or the squirrels. There are a couple of other car parks closer to the village but they all charge. You can't grumble at free, even if it means a bit of a walk or a wait.

Just a heads up: take any litter home with you. It gets a bit messy sometimes, especially after a busy day. Let’s keep Formby tidy, eh?
