About Alpine Village
Alpine Village, right on the seafront, is one of those places that's been around forever. I remember going as a kid, and it's still there, which says something, right? It's got a decent outdoor seating area which is great when Southport actually gets some sun.
It's got a 3.0 rating on Google from a couple of reviews, so don't expect Michelin stars, but it's a solid option if you're after something easy and casual. I reckon it suits families and couples just fine, especially if you're after a quick bite after a walk along the beach.
I wouldn't say it's fine dining, but it's a good spot for a no-fuss meal. I'd guess it can get busy on weekend afternoons with the beach crowd, so maybe think about that if youβre heading down.
Bear in mind it's right on the front, so parking can be a pain. Give yourself a bit of extra time to find a spot, especially if the weather's decent.
