Bold Arms

If you're after a solid, reliable pub in Southport town centre, the Bold Arms is a decent shout. You know what you're getting: it's a Green King pub, so the food and drink are reasonably priced and pretty consistent. They've got a good rating online – 4.4 stars from over a thousand Google reviews – which is a fair reflection, I reckon. It's not going to blow you away, but it's a safe bet.
